For the seventh consecutive year, the Maxwell and Newhouse Schools of Syracuse University hosted a group of international journalists this November.

The Maxwell and Newhouse Schools of Syracuse University hosted a group of international journalists for a week-long visit. As part of the State Department-sponsored Edward R. Murrow Program for Journalists, which brings together over 150 emerging journalists from around the world to examine journalistic practices in the United States, Syracuse was one of ten leading universities asked to host this year. Among the 2012 participants were 10 journalists from South Asia, including professionals from Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Bangladesh, all of whom spent three weeks in the United States to examine grassroots civic and political life in America.
